Days 25 and 26
Last dance the DJ announces. Grab that special someone and hold them tight to the harmonies of Boyz II Men.
After another liquor store stop and slurpee in Nashville, I stayed in Knoxville. I was shooting for Asheville but it gave me a few options of another city I’ve never been. I grabbed breakfast at Pete’s. Stopped by Mast General Store and grabbed some postcards. The campus and downtown area is cozy. I like the vibe. It would be cool to check out a game there.
Grabbed some fireworks. After consulting my DDT- Doster Defense Team, this part of the blog is redacted for Executive Privilege. I got candles from Rome and something from Daisy after she went to her friends at Dave and Busters. Next, NC state line.
I jumped off I-40. I always take 40 through the mountains and took US 25 into Asheville. That was a nice smooth drive and not that crazy rush down and up 40. I was going to grab lunch but felt I could get a better visit next time. 3.5 hrs later. Home. I’m working on some post trip stats and map. Charts and graphs!! I’m so thankful for all of you following along. It was so much fun and hopefully I made a memory with you.
I returned Lil Red to Big Red last night. I was so thankful I could use his car. She did me well and we had a great time. The freakiest thing on this trip.. Milage. I went from Nathan’s on June 8th to July 1st. – see picture below. We can’t make this up. No driving around the block, it just happened.
