Days 2 and 3

Ahh Cincinnati.. you say you are a Queen City. I’ll let you and Charlotte work that out. I love coming this way to see my good friends and landlords. Evan and Lauren are amazing.

Day 2 was the thrill of the hunt for bourbon and we caught a bite. It’s tough to do things as we all know but as more and more things open, you can get some of the experiences. New Riff is a great bourbon right there in Covington on the KY side. It’s a cool area, Newton I believe. We enjoyed some bourbon and they had a tasting flight of their distillers special. Pretty good. They made a New Fashion for us to go in a personal bottle with some apps as well. Dinner was a delicious chicken Lauren caught with her bare hands. It was quiet yummy.

Day 3 we enjoyed each other’s company with a picnic at the overlook at Devou Park. It was a great spot under the trees looking over the city for the turkey drop. I swore they would fly. Then we went to the jungle, The Jungle Jim’s. What can I say about Jungle Jim’s? It’s the grocery store with everything. A wide selection of if you can think it, they got it. I was able to find some Walkers Crips from England. That made me smile. It was quite the experience. That evening Evan and I grabbed some food and did what good ol NC boys do, watched the race! We had some Stone Cold Steve Austin Broken Skull IPA. Good times and a special time with wonderful friends.

Off to Madison, Wisconsin for some brat’s. Thanks again Evan and Lauren. I went out with a bang I’ll say!!!
